Why the Stansborough Range of Blankets and Throws?
Buckton and Day are proud to offer this range of product in their boutique store. The Stansborough grey wool comes from a
rare flock of sheep called the gotland pelt that are now known as the "Stansborough grey" flock and are the
only flock of its kind in the world! The rare wool is spun and woven on historic mechanical looms that date back to the 1890's
and are hand threaded to create the silky and lustous fabrics that Stansborough offer. From all this care and attention to
the process of weaving, the Stansborough team have been able to provide a woollen fabric that has exceptional draping qualities
and truly rank amongst the best in the world.
